The inaugural edition of the European Pellet Forum took place in 2023 in Graz, Austria, on the day before the well-established Central European Biomass Conference. As the flagship event for the premium wood pellet industry, the Forum brought together key stakeholders to discuss market developments, industry challenges, and the future of pellet-based heating solutions.

Organized and structured in 2022 by national pellet associations under the European Pellet Council, the event focused on pellet applications for heat generation in the domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors. Participants included pellet producers and traders, stove and boiler manufacturers, as well as other actors in the pellet value chain.

The event provided a unique platform for high-level networking, business development, and strategic discussions shaping the future of the European pellet industry.

The success of this first edition laid the foundation for the European Pellet Forum to become an annual event, strengthening its role as a key meeting point for the international pellet market.
